New Movie idea

So I've come up with something else instead of the other movie, and this doesn't invole guns or anything, just Quarterstaves. It's gonna be set to Still I'm Sad. Just a 5 minutes short of Quarterstaff fighting. Should be good. We'll see if I can get the place I want to shoot it in.

Lost Dream

I had one of those killer action movie "hero gets the girl" type of dream, and woke up in the middle of the night, saying to myself, I should write this down. Consequently, I never got up to do it, and now it leaves a scar of "wish I could change". It was a bloody good dream too. All I remeber is that I had a intense feeling of satisfaction after the adventures.

It was gonna be sweet . . .

Mike

No Movie

So the movie is off. I feel strangely calm. I should be raving. I've spent about 50 bucks and 100 hours brainstorming/preparing/writing the script/emailing/finding dates/calling people/assembling clothing/spray painting and I cannot even shoot the movie.

I'm listening to the Princess Monoke sound track and reading my friends email from Scotland. I guess that's the way to do it. I guess I just still don't beleive that we're not filming on Monday. I hope I stay this way, or I just might go insane.

I bloody hate convicts. One of them is the reason I can't film at school. He jumped out of a ambulence and crossed over the campus. The school had swat teams and helicopters and everything, and now the princible says we can't do it. I don't blame him, I blame the convict. Idiot. He was recaptured about 7 hours later. A fat lot of good it did him, and a fat load of crap he served to me.

I think I'm starting to rave. I had better stop.

Old stuffs contiuned

So I burn copies of the four Baldur's Gate 2 discs, and install it on my computer. I set the resolution, hotkey etc. in a configure exe. I make a shortcut to it on my desktop and then test it out. So I double click on the shortcut and the normal window pops ups, and I click play. Then I see my bar appear at the top, with everything inverted, and all the intros are upside down. Ah, That's a moose for ya.

Dream

I checked to make sure that I had my clips. Then we stormed the base en masse. Don’t remember the first victory very well. It seems that we won, and that we were challenged to a rematch. By the second time I was so far into the dream that I didn’t know how to reload and where my grenade was. I knew were my pistol was a and were my machine gun was, but couldn’t remember where the fresh clips are. I had to use my pistol, which seemed to have unlimited shoots, with no reloading, just pull back the hammer each time. Before long, I was shooting people right below their WWI helmets in the forehead, and it would just make a bright red round circle, and then they would fall over.
It was a lot like a computer game, because I didn’t use sound very much, I had very little peripheral vision, and there was at the top left of my view, 4 little buttons, one of them said “something” clip. Like reload, un-attach, unbolt, something like that. Except that once I hit the button, then it simply wouldn’t do anything except loosen the clip so I could take it out. Then I had to put in a fresh clip. I wonder what Battlefield 1942 and all those WWII games are like. Never played one before, but this felt like one of them all over.
So we stormed the base a second time. I sneaked around the back way and took out the guards, and burst through the door. I mowed a couple people down and then moved onto the next room. Apparently, to win the game, we had to capture some scientist and escort him back or something. Then I had to find my fresh clips, which by then I had forgotten. Now I can remember that I had them in my lower left leather pocket, there were two clips, in leather cases. About as wide as two fingers, and about an inch longer. Any way, I was out of ammunition so I pulled out my pistol, which I taunted the other people with saying “It’s a sniper pistol” Then they would just cower and/or run. As I walked out the back door, they sorta like surrounded me, But there was people from both sides, and they were just talking. They one of them, looking a whole lot like my older brother, chased after me saying something like “After him, he stole . . . . he must be dead soon” Can’t remember what I stole. But anyway, he was after me, and I ran out of ammo for my pistol, so I got out my machine gun. We ran around a good long time, till he jumped and tackled me, and asked me why I didn’t shoot him. I responded that I didn’t remember where I had put my spare clips. He said something like, Joe, stupid, they are right there. Then I pulled them out, and looked at them and said, yeah, but I guess the game is over. Although He tackled me, he didn’t seem to be on the opposite team, cause I didn’t say good game to him, only to the other people in that group.
The machine gun was basically my paintball gun, with instead of the Co2 can being right down in front, there was a nice drop forward. I took the clips out of the handle like a pistol, and then slammed my hand up into the butt of the pistol, right were the clip should be, as if I was pretending that the pistol worked and shot and everything, and that I was just fooling around with my paintball marker.

Something For Fun

During the Mid to Late Centuries, Several items of detailed notice, although carried away by a somewhat prestidious nobleman of the late 17th century, have been yet identified as the remains of a broken piece of pottery, from the early to mid centuries, which the readers of an alien newspaper, some 14,000 lightyears away, will find quite odd, being as they are, and will says to themselves, "Pottery?"

Old stuffs

Been getting back into the old swing o' things with a traditional style RPG, Baldur's Gate. Man, it asks you if you want it in 640 by 480 or 800 by 600. Old stuffs. I'm also finding out that It's a lot easier now that I'm the appropriate age for playing these games, although I also beat the game a couple years back. Now I'm just breezing through. Gonna get the sequel from a friend soon, and beat that. Also, I'm waiting anxiously for a the full 3D RPG "Dragon Age" to come out. Outta Bioware, so it's got some potential for really wasting my time. The FAQ says that it's a Baldur's Gate traditional style RPG but in full 3D with a 3D camera and movement and everything. Sounds pretty sweet. But I've been slowly playing less and less, as the summer progress. More time blacksmithing. Good stuff. Old stuff, couple hundred years old. Gonna beat that too.
